Quick Navigation

The Film

Q: Is there a special interest political, religious or lobbying group behind the film’s financing?

A: No, it is privately financed and completely independent. We are not academics or attorneys, nor are we affiliated with a gender-based organization, religious group, or government entity.

Q: Will the film be available internationally? What about subtitles in different languages?

A: The film is available worldwide on DVD and Blu-ray™. The film is also available as a digital download and rental in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong on iTunes. We hope to make it available as a digital download worldwide someday, but Divorce Corp is not currently sub-titled for foreign languages. The film is also available on Amazon as a DVD and Blu-ray™.

Q: Are you making another film on this issue with follow up and fresh material?

A: No plans as of now for another film.

Q: Are you interested in making a reality TV show about this issue?

A: No, we want to shift the focus to making reforms to the system. The Divorce Corp movie is helping to expose the problems in family courts, now we believe it is time to work towards positive change.

Special Screenings

Q: Can anyone host a special screening?

A: Technically yes, anyone can host a special screening, however since the film needs to be licensed, we recommend that organizations host the screening so they can sell tickets and make some of the money back while also fundraising for their organization.

Q: How much is the licensing fee?

A: The minimum license fee for a one-time screening of Divorce Corp is $600. This includes the $500 minimum license fee plus a refundable $100 security fee. The fee is due two weeks prior to the screening date.

Q: How do I get the refundable security fee back?

A: When the Blu-ray™ copy of Divorce Corp used for the Special Screening is returned to Divorce Corp, we will return the $100 security deposit, assuming the movie is in returned in good condition.

Q: How do I get started?

A: We recommend you make arrangements with a venue that can host the special screening. Then you can contact us by filling out the Request A Screening form. Once a date and venue have been arranged, you will need to sign our license agreement and submit the licensing fee no less than two weeks prior to the screening. The Divorce Corp movie will be provided for the screening as a Blu-ray™ disk. The venue must be able to project using a Blu-ray™ disk. If the venue only accepts DCP for the movie, additional fees will be required.

Q: Will Divorce Corp help promote my screening?

A: Yes, Divorce Corp will list the screening on our website as well as on social media once we have a signed licensing agreement for the screening. If you are providing for online ticket sales, we will include the ticketing link on our website.

Q: Do I get to keep ticket sales?

A: That is between you and the venue for the special screening. Divorce Corp does not take any ticket sales.
