Transportation

• Flying in and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport? The Metro is located right at the Airport. Either the Blue or Yellow Line will take you to King Street Station near the Westin Alexandria. If you call the hotel (703-253-8600) prior to getting on the Metro, a complimentary shuttle will pick you up and take you to the hotel or you can walk the short distance to the Westin.
• Flying in and out of Dulles International Airport? It is possible to use public transportation via a combination of bus and the Blue Line on the Metro, but you are probably better off taking a taxi from the airport to the Westin Alexandria.
• Coming in on the train? You can take AmTrak to Union Station in Washington, D.C. From Union Station take the Metro Red Line towards Shady Grove for two stops. At the Gallery Place Chinatown Metro Station transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. You will stay on the Yellow Line for 8 stops to King Street Station. The Westin Alexandria is a short walk away or you can call the hotel for a complimentary shuttle.
